Joe Biden (urodzony 20 listopada 1942 roku w Scranton, Pensylwania) - amerykański polityk związany z Partią Demokratyczną. Biden pełnił funkcję wiceprezydenta Stanów Zjednoczonych w latach 2009-2017. W 2020 r. został wybrany na 46. prezydenta Stanów Zjednoczonych. Biden ukończył studia prawnicze na Syracuse University College of Law w 1968 r. W latach 1973-2009 był senatorem z ramienia Partii Demokratycznej, reprezentując stan Delaware. W czasie swojej kariery politycznej Biden przewodził Senackiej Komisji Relacji Zagranicznych i Senackiej Komisji ds. Sądownictwa. Biden jest założycielem fundacji charytatywnej Biden Cancer Initiative, której działalność jest związana ze zwalczaniem chorób nowotworowych. W 2021 r.
